♥ Lucia is officially Reina Lady Colombia in the Reina Intercontinental Pageant 2020. She will compete in the pageant in Costa Rica this April.  

♥ In November 2019, Lucia was selected to be Miss Colombia 2019 in her first international beauty pageant in Italy. 

♥ In March 2019, Lucia performed to sold out audiences as, “The Woman Who Loved to Make Women Happy” in The Vagina Monologues –proceeds from the performances were donated to Acorus, a domestic violence shelter and counseling center in Prague, Czech Republic. The performance was a part of the world “V-Day” movement, a global initiative to end violence against girls and women that began in 1998 with the playwright, Eve Ensler. ♥ In February 2019, Lucia performed and acted in Founder Justine Piontek’s The Truth Series: Sex! Lucia wrote the comedy script and acted in the short one-woman show.

♥ In April 2018, Lucia’s poem “Made In America” won a 2018 Gold Podcast Palooza Award at the HEAR Now: The Audio Fiction and Arts Festival. The poem premiered at the festival in Kansas City, Missouri! Listen to her performance, below:

♥ In 2016, Lucia attended the Hispanic Organization of Latino Actors (HOLA) Awards to honor Sunny Hostin.

♥ In fall 2016, Lucia was awarded and completed the Screenwriter’s University “Screenwriting Fellowship”!

♥ In 2016, Lucia continued her acting studies with her favorite teacher, Susan Aston.

♥ From August 2013 – August 2015, Lucia produced the Asbury Short Film Concert Series -the longest running Short Film Concert Series in NYC.

♥ In 2015, Lucia attended the Hispanic Organization of Latino Actors (HOLA) Awards in NYC. Alex Dinelaris, Andrea Navedo, Benicio del Toro and Dascha Polanco were among the award winners!

♥ In 2014, Lucia continued her acting studies with Susan Aston.

♥ In 2014, Lucia was nominated for CT Latino New Network, “Young Latinos To Watch” List.

♥ In January 2014, Lucia’s wrote, directed, produced, cast and starred in “MIDI_s”, a one-act play that premiered as part of the Manhattan Repertory Theater, “Winter One Act Play Competition” in New York, NY!

♥ In 2014, Lucia produced a commercial for the, “Doritos: Crash the Superbowl” with Director Chris Ruiz in New York, NY.

♥ In 2014, Lucia worked as the production assistant for Beatrice Copeland’s short film, “Erstwhile”. It premiered at the Queens World Film Fest and was selected for the Festival de Cannes, “Cannes Shorts Corner”!

♥ In 2013, Lucia graduated from the Michael Howard Studios directorial, production and screenwriting “Intensive Film Workshop”!

♥ In 2013, Lucia graduated from Michael Howard Studios‘ intensive “Summer Conservatory” for Actors!

♥ In 2011, Lucia won a bronze medal writing award for her piece in The Sports Fan Network.

♥ In 2011, Lucia won a performance scholarship and began her acting studies at the Actors Studio Drama School (ASDS) in NYC.
